Charterwood LLC is a family-owned business focused on preserving the legacy of your family-owned business
Charterwood LLC was started to acquire and grow one single company over the long term. Charterwood LLC is our holding company that we will use to quickly and easily buy a business. We are not a private equity firm. We are owners and entrepreneurs and will dedicate our entire time to operating your company after a transition period.
We believe we offer a unique opportunity for owners looking to sell. We bring personal capital, flexible terms, and a highly skilled and experienced team that will enter the business's day-to-day operations, prioritizing sustainable long-term growth.
Our team consists of two individuals, Bill Fricke and Michael Fricke. Both of them grew up in small towns in the Midwest. In 1999, Bill invested in a family-owned business that dated back to 1954. He served as the President and CEO for 24 years before deciding to transition control to his other partners. During Bill’s tenure, the company generated close to $1 billion in revenue. Michael attended university in Massachusetts and worked in the investment banking and private equity industries before stepping away to pursue Charterwood full-time.
If you are considering selling your business and value the continuation of what you have built, we are interested in starting a conversation.
